Convenience: There are no waiting rooms, traveling to an office or sitting in traffic.
Choices: Generally more access to a wider selection of in state licensed therapists. You can also meet your therapist on your time.

Adult and Individual Counseling
Individual therapy is a joint process between a licensed therapist and a person seeking psychotherapy. Common goals of therapy can be to inspire change, create understanding or awareness, and improve the quality of life. People may seek therapy for help with issues that are hard to face alone. Couples Counseling
Couples therapy is a type of psychotherapy in which a therapist assist two people involved in a relationship recognize the cause & effect patterns that interfer with their ability maintain a healthy balance. Couples counseling helps the two individuals involved gain insight into their relationship, resolve conflict and improve relationship satisfaction utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions. Working together as a team the goal is to strengthen the quality of the partnership.
Clinical Supervision
Clinical Supervision is offered by a board approved supervisor with greater than five years of experience in the state of North Carolina. Supervision provides a checks and balances for work provided by Associate Level Professionals. It provides oversight to ensure that effective, ethical and culturally appropriate services are provided to clients. Supervision also helps the counselor develop their clinical skills and help prepare them for licensure. Clinical supervision also provides a safe place to explore professional development such as career goals, burnout, or work related stressors.
All associates are required to:
Obtain personal liability insurance – Obtaining personal liability insurance can provide protection against potential legal action. It is recommended that you have a personal policy even if you are also covered under your employer’s policy.
Have a Clinical Caseload – Associates must have an active clinical caseload to provide content for supervision and the opportunity to enhance clinical skills.
Sign a clinical supervision contract – This contract will guide our path, by outlining the details of our work together and provide parameters for the supervisor-supervisee relationship.
Groups and Psycho-educational Classes
Group Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that involves one or more therapists working with several people at the same time. Issues and topics are usually grouped by common factors and similarities. Some groups focus on specific coping skills, while others are designed to help patients learn the benefits of sharing their experiences with others
